1. What is AMOE?
[PLACEHOLDER] An Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE) is a legally required free method for entering sweepstakes without making a purchase. Federal and state sweepstakes laws require that all participants have an equal chance of winning regardless of whether they spend money. The AMOE mail-in method allows anyone who meets the eligibility requirements to obtain Sweeps Coins (SC) — and through them, a chance at prizes — without purchasing any Race Coins package.
A purchase does not improve your chances of winning.
2. Eligibility
[PLACEHOLDER] AMOE entries are open to:
- Legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older;
- Residents of states that are not on the restricted states list (see Restricted States);
- Individuals who are not employees or immediate family members of the Sponsor.
[PLACEHOLDER — ATTORNEY TO CONFIRM] Residents of restricted states may submit AMOE entries but may not be eligible to receive prizes. Consult your state's sweepstakes laws or seek legal advice.
3. How to Enter by Mail
[PLACEHOLDER] To obtain free Sweeps Coins via the AMOE process:
- Obtain a plain 3” × 5” index card (or cut a piece of paper to that size).
- Legibly handwrite all required information (see Section 4).
- Place the card in a standard mailing envelope with a first-class stamp.
- Address and mail to the address in Section 5.
- Allow 4–6 weeks for processing from the date of receipt.
- Sweeps Coins will be credited to your BML account upon validation.
[PLACEHOLDER] If you do not yet have a BML account, include a note requesting that a new account be created. Our AMOE team will set up an account and send access instructions to the email address you provide.
4. What to Include
[PLACEHOLDER] Your 3×5 card must include the following, all legibly handwritten:
- Your full legal name;
- Your complete mailing address (street, city, state, ZIP — no P.O. boxes);
- Your email address (associated with your BML account or for a new account);
- Your date of birth (for age verification — must be 18+);
- The text “BML AMOE REQUEST” written clearly on the card;
- The sweepstakes period or event name (if requesting entry for a specific event — optional).
[PLACEHOLDER] Do not include payment information, personal documents, or anything other than the index card in the envelope. Entries that do not comply with these requirements will be deemed invalid without notice.
